  1. Chuck Pink, that is -- a personified force of self-censorship and blame. Kottke's always been good at tagging his songs with quirky titles, and Chuck Pink is no exception, with tunes like "I Yell at Traffic," "Dog Quiver," and "Theme From Doodles." The bouncy "Busy Signal" was nominated for a Grammy in the instrumental country category.8/
  2. Feb 16,  · Part Two: Regards From Chuck Pink (This title comes from the name of a piece played on Leo's release "Chewing Pine", but longtime Kottke fans know it as "Egg Tooth". Why the two titles, I don't know. "Chuck Pink" was played in ensemble while "Egg Tooth" has always appeared as a solo piece, maybe that's it.)/5(7).

  5. Anyway: we are now examining Kottke's release for Private Music. "Regards From Chuck Pink" (hence referred to as "Chuck") seems to revisit some of the same ground that A Shout Toward Noon did, although the overall mood of this album is much sunnier. This album definitely challenges the listener more than its predecessor/5(7).

  7. BGO combines Leo Kottke's first two releases for the Private Music label: 's A SHOUT TOWARD NOON and 's REGARDS FROM CHUCK PINK. I've owned these albums (on vinyl) since their original release, but it's nice to have them on this two-CD set after having been out of print for years/5(2).
  8. Leo Kottke () amerikai gitáros ban megjelent albuma két dolog miatt is figyelemre méltó. Az egyik dolog az, hogy korábban még nem készített ilyen nagy létszámú kísérőcsapattal felvételeket. A közreműködők között feltűnt a nagy időknek egyik nagy tanúja: Jim Keltner () amerikai dobos is.
